Ele voltará a passar próximo da Terra em 10 março de 2011 e, poderá atingir magnitude 14. Contudo, não atingirá a Terra. Muitos sites estão erroneamente se referindo a este astro como um cometa, mas pelo que nos consta, não é um cometa e sim um asteróide. Talvez está havendo uma confusão com o segundo corpo celeste que aparecerá mais para o meio do ano.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;"&gt;Este segundo corpo celeste, um cometa, foi descoberto em 12 de dezembro de 2010 por um observador russo, Leonid Elenin. O cometa iniciará sua visibilidade em julho de 2011 e atingirá magnitude de 3.5 em 4 de setembro, quando poderá ser observado durante o crepúsculo vespertino.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;"&gt;Ambos os corpos celestes passarão bem próximos da Terra, inclusive o Cometa Elenin passará no campo de visão do satélite SOHO entre os dias 12 e 15 de setembro. Porém, nesta data podem contar que a NASA irá cessar sua transmissão das imagens, como já o fez pelo menos duas outras vezes. Bem na hora H, exatamente quando os cometas passavam pelo campo de visão do SOHO, o equipamento falhou. Segundo ele, o sucesso de tecnologias atuais como o PhysX está estagnado, o último jogo que teve o recurso foi Mafia II, mas de uma forma incompleta, já que física não influencia no gameplay, apenas melhora na qualidade gráfica, também outros fatores como tecnologias proprietárias (CUDA) e a compra da HAVOK pela Intel causaram uma certa dificuldade em fazer os desenvolvedores aceitarem desenvolver jogos com física acelerada na GPU. Manju cita o caso no passado a "oferta" oferecida do API PhysX para AMD e a dita recusa, teria sido hipocrisia da NVIDIA tal oferta, pois tal tecnologia é baseada em padrões fechados e controlados estritamente pela NVIDIA, seria o mesmo que dizer que alguma empresa pudesse oferecer seu padrão fechado para outro concorrente gratuítamente. "Abstratamente" falando, não faz sentido, segundo ele..... A tendência, segundo Manju, é física influenciar o gameplay, como a Rockstar fez em GTAIV, que usou o engine de física Bullet, que é atualmente patrocinado pela AMD, e que faz aceleração de hardware via OpenCL e CUDA nas versões mais recentes.
